Adding Ice Cube To My Morning Routine

Lately I've been under a lot of stress. Whether it'd be work, my duties as a national director for my sorority, or my side projects, my mental and physical health has been slowly deteriorating and it needs to stop. Therefore, I decided to incorporate more enlighting things to my morning routine like, yes you guessed it, music.

One day I decided that I was in an uber chola mood, so I decided to start off my morning with this Ice Cube classic:

It's perfect. Despite his chaotic life in South Central L.A. at the time, Ice Cube talks about all the things that went well during that one day in his life. This optimistic depiction of life in the midst of chaos perfectly set my mood for the day. Music is therapy. Use it.

Whoa girl, I did not know you got down like that. While it was a great shot at launching an awesome career as a metal artist, her voice was not made for the genre. But I give Jada props. Her band performed at several major rock tours including Ozzfest. So \m/ to Jada.

I know I'm totally late, but I just found this video and I'm obsessed.

P!nk is always pushing the edge with her music and her videos. (Spoiler Alert!) Check out the part when she is in bed with numerous religious figures of various churches. Or the part where she has several women held hostage while milking them just to feed a baby cow. Weird, yet why so serious? Raise a glass if you have cojones like this woman!

Ri-Ri, I am Officially Obsessed

I've always been a huge Rihanna fan. This time around redhead Ri-Ri gives us a softer image with her music from her forthcoming album "Loud," which is set to be released on November 16 (Ahhhhh can't wait!!!).

Her first single off her new album, "Only Girl," is a contagious dance track that I personally cannot get enough of. I am loving the Bohemian Chic/Flower Power fashion in this video. This outfit was of particular interest:

A white corset top, flower skirt, and a huge chiffon flower hairpiece. I love this outfit. She seems to be wearing a lot of chiffon in her wardrobe nowadays, giving off this boho-chic-ballerina look. Who can't forget her chiffon ballerina dress/hippie hair band ensemble at this year's MTV VMA's during her performance with Eminem?

You can see a little of her Rude Gyal fashion in this video. However, the Chiffon Hairpiece is still in the picture. She's rockin' a lot of pastel colors in her makeup/nails as well as some fierce bold jewelry. Overall, this is yet another hit for Rihanna in the fashion department.
